My sculptural work continues to be about female figures with pottery vessels and how they relate to each other symbolically, narratively, and emotionally.
Pottery
My current pottery is the result of a long and multi-facetted personal history of object making. I have followed a reasonably linear, but somewhat meandering path of making functional pottery, abstract vessels, figurative sculpture, figurative sculptures holding classical pottery forms, to the making of functional pottery again.
